Challenge: The client is an online marketing services company that offers a wide variety of lead-generation services and e-commerce solutions, as well as printed loyalty communications in the form of direct mail, collateral, and newsletters. The company faced great challenges in getting its printed products produced and delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. It was essential for them to integrate with a single-source fulfillment partner that could produce full-color personalized products (postcards, newsletters, brochures, letters and business cards), provide data management and programming, and fulfill products generated through their online marketing Web site.
Solution: Taking into consideration the need for an all-in-one workflow program, Anderson worked with the client to implement a system that met the demand for competitively priced fulfillment of online orders. Product orders are produced on demand using variable full-color digital printing equipment. We then ship directly to our client's customers, or use our lettershop capabilities to mail to their lists.
Results: Customized orders are fulfilled with speed and accuracy in a process that's completely seamless to the end-user customer. Customers place their product orders on the client's Web site, the client submits the order to Anderson, and the order is mailed to the customer within 48 hours, or directly to the customer's mailing list if they are ordering a direct mail campaign. Print and mail orders are often combined to achieve quantity discounts and significant savings. Anderson provides all the capabilities needed to make this program work. And since the client only has to deal with one vendor, program management is easier and ROI is higher.
